...is a West Seattle High School student organization founded to analyze/promote the democratic process in this year of major national and regional elections as well as important community issues.
Update: 12-05-2007A decision
has been made for WSHS to change to a six period day. We question the reasons
given for this change as stated by Chief Academic Officer Carla Santorno,
the elitist, exclusionary process used to arrive at the decision and especially
the negative effect it will have on learning for the students of WSHS. Simply
stated, despite the significant disinformation circulating by the small
band of 6 period day supporters and certain voices in the district, this
is not over by any means. The middle word of SPS is public,
and you, the taxpaying public, have not been heard on this vital community
issue.
